1 Introductions, apologies and substitutions
1.1 There were no apologies.
3 Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting
3.1 The Committee agreed the motion.
2 Scrutiny of Welsh Government Draft Budget for 2015-16: Economy, Science and Transport
2.1 The witnesses answered questions from Members of the Committee.
2.2 The Minister agreed to provide the following:
- Details of maximising intervention rates for EU funding;
- Details of Welsh Government expenditure on Enterprise Zones and information on the performance and outputs associated with each Enterprise Zone;
- A breakdown of tourism projects that have been supported through TISS and those funded through other capital funding schemes
- A list of major events supported across Wales;
- Case studies to illustrate the added value to Welsh companies in staging major events;
- An informal briefing for Members on the Superfast Cymru project;
- Copies of the reports by the Public Policy Institute for Wales on approaches to strategic transport planning and regulation of financing of bus services;
- Clarification of which budget would fund any legal challenge on the M4;
- Clarification of the timescale for the ‘Access for All’ work being undertaken at Llandaff Station;
· A timescale for the improvements to the Ebbw Vale Line.
